A slow to moderately paced class of asanas (postures) that ‘flow’ from one pose to the next, in union with the breath.
An excellent counter practice to stiffness, immobility and mental stress, Vinyasa gets us moving, stills the mind and helps us to recognize and accept what is inside of us. Focus and movement involves engaging the major and minor muscles thus lengthening and strengthening.
Asanas are sequentially introduced, explained and practiced, ensuring each participant finds the posture most suitable for them. Aligned to the breath, the asanas are joined to create a ‘flow’. The ideal session includes pranayama (breath work), asanas, relaxation and guided meditation.
